Des Varady serves as president of Brundage Group, leading day-to-day operations as the company expands its physician-led, tech-enabled solutions for U.S. hospitals and health systems.

Des is an accomplished leader at the intersection of health care and technology, with more than 30 years of experience and a proven track record of guiding founder-led, mission-driven companies through transformative growth. He has served as chief executive officer of multiple tech-enabled businesses across the health care continuum and directed strategic initiatives at some of the nation’s largest provider and payer organizations, including UnitedHealth, Ascension Health, Trinity Health, and numerous state Medicaid programs.

Des is highly regarded for strengthening operations, integrating acquisitions, building high-performing teams, and creating durable platforms for long-term success, grounded in a steadfast commitment to client outcomes and a culture of excellence. At Brundage Group, Des is focused on expanding the company’s reach, advancing its technology platform, and supporting the development of new solutions that help health care organizations strengthen revenue integrity, improve performance, and navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

A U.S. Army veteran, Des earned a bachelor’s degree in American history from the University of Pennsylvania.
