FY2022 Elevated troponin levels (in the absence of criteria that would meet MI) should be documented as myocardial injury.

I5A: Non-ischemic (non-traumatic) myocardial injury
• Elevated troponin that is not due to myocardial infarction
• Elevated troponin not related to cardiac contusion (not due to trauma)
